I have a degree with a film studies major, but by no means am i declaring myself to be an expert. I’m a fan, a very passionate enthusiast. I love the Horror genre. Always have. Films, television shows, pop culture. All of it. So that’s what this will be- a discussion on all things Horror.
As I said, I am not an expert. These will be the thoughts and opinions of an enthusiast. Mostly focused on the film medium, but also television. I will offer my ideas, my opinions and encourage and welcome others to do so too. I cannot guarantee i wont become carried away, and that i wont try and subliminally suggest many films I adore for everyone to add to their repertoire. But mostly I want people to embrace the genre and analyse and discuss it in all it’s glory.
Horror covers a wide range of sub-genres and context. I want to include them all. To review and indulge. And hopefully to inspire those who haven’t experienced many of the amazing and not-so-amazing interpretations that have graced our screens over the many many years.
So, that’s basically what this is. Me, talking, about stuff. Horror stuff. Grisly, gory, gothic, gooey (ew) horror in all it’s glory!
Thanks for reading this, and I hope you stick around.
